German Parts 


    Although the Germans settled in Briton, they brought with them their dialect full of Latin and Greek talk.  They called this "English" and English its been called ever since.  The three German tribes were the Angles, the Saxons, and the Jutes.  These tribes fought for control over what we now call Britain.   The leaders of the church helped write their language with Latin letters.
